How to assess your paper’s fit
Explain how your research connects language use or learning with a youth or education question. Describe the participants, setting, research approach and contribution. Send the title and abstract for a suitability enquiry, and confirm the publisher’s requirements before proceeding. These enquiry prompts do not settle payment responsibility or the editorial outcome.
Before submission
- Resolve the manuscript-length conflict: About lists 5,000–10,000 words including references; Submissions lists 2,000–10,000 words.
- Confirm the reference style. About specifies APA 6, whereas Submissions permits consistent APA or MLA.
- Use the current template and prepare an anonymous review file with separate author details; verify the applicable bilingual abstract and keyword instructions.
- Obtain an agreed arrangement for the publisher’s payment before review. A possible waiver is subject to journal approval and must not be assumed.
The publisher lists USD 1,200 and begins peer review after payment. Our retained EUR 1,550 is a separate PublicationHelp package amount. Resolve fee coverage, currency treatment and responsibility for the early payment before submission. Customer payment to PublicationHelp remains after acceptance under the agreed terms; it does not change the publisher’s own payment stage.
The displayed amount needs confirmation against the publisher’s current charges. Do not treat it as complete journal-fee coverage. Obtain an agreed complete quote before proceeding.
